Kiley and Dave meet at a Halloween party. Dave thought stealing her costume ears would be a charming icebreaker. Kiley prefers the term “thievery.” Either way, she got her ears back, and he got her number.
Somewhere between friendship and something more, they shared hikes, New Year’s toasts, and even a college visit.
But as life picked up speed, texts slowed down, and their story went quiet until…
The universe officially decided it was done waiting for them to get their timing right and in a scene straight out of a rom-com, Kiley and Dave bump into each other on a random Morristown street. A spontaneous catch-up drink leads to a spark that lasts.
One cat, two apartments, and several pairs of shoes tripped over later, they build a home together. There’s laughter, love, adventure, and an ongoing debate on whose turn it is to feed the cat.
Dave and Kiley go on a particularly special coffee walk to their favorite place, where Dave pops the question.

The Proposal
Dave thought of everything to make the proposal perfect- Five rounds of design to make the perfect ring, using their favorite spot in Jersey City, Hamilton Park, and choosing the perfect autumn day as the backdrop.

If you know Kiley, you know how much she loves the moon (see the moon phase of their wedding date, her full moon dinner parties, her moon phase jewelry… you get it.) So what better time to propose than a crisp October morning under the Harvest Moon? What Kiley thought was their normal weekly coffee walk would become the most special walk of their life thus far!
The plan was in motion— a map Dave drew of exactly where he would propose, and the secret photographer (shoutout Mac!) hidden in a nearby bush, ready with her camera.. Despite this flawless blueprint, Dave panicked, abandoned the map plan, and led them completely out of the camera's view. Cue Mac, scrambling out of the bush and sprinting with her camera to the new spot, capturing the moment just in time.
Kiley said yes, Dave stopped sweating, and the rest of the day was filled with giggles, happy tears, and celebratory Dames banana bread (IYKYK).
